Bayern Munich announced on Tuesday that they have loaned Yona Kousi-Asare to Fulham. Kousi-Asare will play for Fulham until the end of the season, with a buyout clause included in his contract.
According to multiple sources, Bayern will receive €4 million from the loan, and they have also included a buy-back clause in the agreement.
Born in Solna, Sweden, 18-year-old Kusi Asare primarily plays as a center forward. He joined Bayern's U19 team from AIK Solna early last year and made his first-team debut on April 26, 2025, in the 31st matchday of the Bundesliga.
Bayern's sporting director Christoph Freund explained the decision to loan Koussi Asare to Fulham: "Jona has made significant progress at Bayern over the past year and a half and made his first-team debut in his first season. He possesses exceptional potential and now needs to gain valuable experience in one of Europe's top leagues. We will closely monitor his development and are confident that he can reach new heights at Fulham and continue to grow and mature."
Koussi Asare is excited about joining Fulham: "I am very excited to join Fulham. This is an excellent club with a passionate fan base. I can't wait to start my new journey, fight alongside my teammates and give my best for the club."
