In an exclusive interview, Manchester United's 18-year-old rising star Ayden Heaven candidly shared the reasons why he left Arsenal and chose Manchester United.

The centre-back joined Manchester United on February 1 this year and made his debut in just six months, appearing in the FA Cup against Fulham. He then showed solid performances in the games against Arsenal and Real Sociedad.

However, in the match against Leicester City, Haiwen was unfortunately injured, which led to a short break. Fortunately, he returned in time and participated in the Asian tour at the end of the season with the team, and scored a goal in the match against Hong Kong, China, showing a strong growth momentum.

Talking about the motivation for deciding to join Manchester United, Haven said: "Last season, Manchester United was one of the teams that gave young players the most playing time, which made me feel that this place really gives young people opportunities. In addition, the fans and teammates here are very loving, and I can feel their support."

Haven also mentioned that the tactical philosophy of coach Ruben Amorim was one of the key factors: "He said the team's three-back system suits me very well, and I am good at dribbling from the left and defending on the wing."

In terms of integration into the team, Haven especially thanked teammate Mason Mount for his proactive acceptance: "On my first day at the Carrington training base, he took the initiative to come and chat with me for ten minutes, and even mentioned a tackle I made on him in our pre-season match, which made me relax quickly."
