Bill's hip injury could sideline him for several games, severely testing the team's depth.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Bradley Beal will miss several games due to a left hip injury and is currently undergoing further imaging examinations to determine the severity of the injury.

This injury not only affects the team's backcourt rotation, but also poses a greater challenge to the Clippers, who are already plagued by injuries, at the start of the season. Beal was injured while drawing an offensive foul in the game against the Phoenix Suns.

Although Beal still played in the game against the Suns two days later and contributed a season-high 12 points, he was subsequently excluded from the roster for the game against the Atlanta Hawks and it was confirmed that he would miss several games in the coming days.

The 32-year-old Beal faces the dual challenges of form and health in his first season with the Clippers. So far this season, he's averaging 8.2 points and 1.7 rebounds per game, both career lows, a far cry from his All-Star averages of 21.4 points and 4.3 assists per game.

In fact, Beal has been plagued by knee surgery and multiple soreness injuries in recent seasons, and this hip injury has once again raised concerns about his health and long-term contributions.

Faced with Beal's absence and roster shortages, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue opted to adjust the starting lineup, prioritizing size and rebounding ability by starting forward John Collins alongside center Ivica Zubac, rather than directly replacing Beal with a player.

Besides Beal, the Clippers are facing even greater roster pressure. Kawhi Leonard remains sidelined, and James Harden is also temporarily out. In the fiercely competitive Western Conference, the absence of several key players is testing the Clippers' roster depth and adaptability, forcing the team to readjust its strategies on both offense and defense.
