The 26th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season will feature a key match, with newly promoted Leeds United traveling to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea. Ethan Ampadu stated that the team believes they are fully capable of achieving their goals and are confident in their ability to compete against diverse opponents.

Leeds United defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 in their last league match, thanks to goals from Jadon Bogle, Okafor, and Calvert-Lewin. After a run of two wins, two draws, and one loss in their last five games, Leeds United currently sit 16th in the table with 29 points.

Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu said in an interview, "I think one of the things we've done very well this season is not to dwell on the results, whether they're positive or negative. We learn from every game and every result and then try to get better the following week."

"So now it's another opportunity, and we're going to have another game. We have to give our best and move on. For the rest of the season, our only focus is to make sure we give our best in every game and fight for the results we deserve."

Ethan Ampadu emphasized, "From the start of the season until now, this team has always been full of belief, and we are completely confident that we can achieve our goals."

Furthermore, Chelsea defeated Wolves 3-1 in their last match after Palmer scored a hat-trick. Rosseneil's team currently sits in 5th place with 43 points.

As for their first encounter this season, Leeds United defeated the "Blue Lions" 3-1 after goals from Jaca Björl, Tanaka, and Calvert-Lewin.

It's worth mentioning that Ethan Ampadu previously played for Chelsea. Ampadu commented, "Of course I'd be happy to go back there, but I'm not thinking about it being against Chelsea. It's just another Leeds United game, and we want to get more points."
