Villarreal head coach Marcelino García Toral, along with midfielder Alfonso Pedraza, attended a media conference to discuss the team's preparations for the upcoming European competition. The team will face Copenhagen tomorrow at the Estadio de la Cerro Estádio.  

At the press conference, Marcelino stated that although the team is eager to defeat their Danish opponents, this will not affect Villarreal's established match strategy, as they always approach every game with the same goal. He emphasized, "We will fight for victory with the same intensity as we do for every match. We hope to show our best form and make things difficult for our opponents."  

“We are well aware of how intense this competition is, and details often determine the final result. Today, these details were not on our side. We hope to be in good form and play accurately tomorrow to win our first match. We crave victory and desperately need it.”  

"We cannot let anxiety or pressure distract us; we must concentrate fully on studying our opponents and their tactics. The most crucial thing is to think about how to win. We hope to play at our own pace and make the right judgments throughout the game. If we play at our best, we are stronger than our opponents. But we still need to play our games realistically. Only by maintaining high efficiency on both offense and defense can we win, which is what we are currently focusing on."  

When discussing their opponents, Marcelino pointed out that Copenhagen possesses excellent attacking depth and skillful ball control. He said, "They are a very dynamic team, usually using a 4-4-2 formation. They excel in transitions and quick counter-attacks. Their wingers often make deep runs forward, creating a significant threat; the ability of their central players is equally noteworthy."  

"If we relax even slightly on the defensive end, we could run into trouble because the opponent is excellent in both skill and judgment. As long as we maintain our intensity, quickly regain possession, and shift the direction of our attack in a timely manner, we will have far fewer problems. This team will force us to be more rigorous in defense and to maintain a clear mind when organizing our attack."  

Finally, the Villarreal coach addressed the fans, emphasizing the importance of playing against the Danish team. He said, "This match is crucial for us. We crave victory and we must win. The club, players, staff, and fans all understand that this is a critical juncture for Villarreal. We are currently third in the league, not far behind the top teams, and we are also competing in the Champions League."
