According to NBA reporter Jack Fisher on Thursday, Malcolm Brogdon's future remains uncertain. In addition to the Golden State Warriors, who are closely linked to him, the New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves have also recently expressed interest in him.
While Brogdon is considered a key signing target for the Warriors, Kuminga's contract issues have stalled his signing process. According to multiple sources, Kuminga has yet to accept the Warriors' proposed extension offer: a two-year, $45 million contract or a qualifying offer of $7.9 million.
Fisher further pointed out that the Knicks and Timberwolves are closely monitoring Brogdon's movements. Although he has been plagued by injuries in recent years, Brogdon is still recognized as a reliable point guard when healthy.
Brogdon, 32, was the 36th overall pick in the 2016 second round. He has played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, and Washington Wizards throughout his career. Due to injuries, he played in just 24 regular-season games for the Wizards last season, averaging 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game while shooting 43.3% from the field and 28.6% from three-point range.
