Real Mallorca have announced that midfielder Dani Rodriguez will leave the club as a free agent after seven and a half years with the club. During his time there, he made 282 appearances for the club across La Liga, Segunda División, Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup, scoring 32 goals and providing 39 assists.  

This club legend and fan favorite played a key role in the team's return to La Liga. He scored in the first leg of the promotion play-off semi-final against Albacete and netted the team's first goal in the top flight in the 2019/20 season.  

Dani Rodriguez previously captained RCD Mallorca, making significant contributions to the team's five consecutive La Liga seasons. His goal in the 2024 Copa del Rey final remains a memorable moment for fans. The club wishes him all the best for the future and thanks him for his many years of dedication to the team.  

Dani Rodriguez said: "The only word that comes to mind is ' thank you .' I want to dedicate this to all the fans, not only the supporters of Real Mallorca, but also the residents of the entire island of Mallorca – my deepest gratitude. We have had many wonderful times here, and my wife, children, and I are very honored to have lived and worked on this beautiful island for so many years."
