Valencia Football Club officially announced that the club has successfully reached an agreement with Jesus Vázquez to extend his contract until June 30, 2028.  

The Valencia defender has been in the Valencia Academy since he was five years old and made his debut for the Valencia first team in the Copa del Rey against Terrassa Football Club on December 20, 2020. Today, he has grown into a top player in Spanish football, with a total of 77 official appearances.  

In the international arena, Jesus Vazquez has accumulated rich experience in the Spanish youth national team. In the next three seasons, he will continue to play for Valencia Football Club and defend the club's honor.  

In an interview, Jesus Vazquez talked about the renewal of his contract with the club. Jesus Vazquez said: "I have been here since I was 5 years old. Now I am 22 years old. This is almost the only team I have played for. With the significant improvement at the end of last season, this is also a new challenge for me personally."

"I have spent 17 years at the Mestalla and have played in various stadiums, but it is rare to find a stadium as passionate as the Mestalla. Every match day, the stadium is always full, even for foreign players to feel nervous. We must maintain this state. Deep down, I dream of making my debut at the Camp Nou one day, which is one of the reasons why I decided to renew my contract."  

"Each coach gave me different guidance: some focused on defensive skills, others gave me more freedom in offense and new tactical systems. I will not underestimate the influence of any coach. They have provided valuable help in my life and career path."  

"I try to do my best every day. I've been in close contact with them since the moment they arrived and they have confidence in me. This is exactly what I need. I feel like I have grown significantly and this is exactly what I need right now. If we can keep fighting like we did in the second half of last season, I believe we will achieve satisfactory results."
