Everton successfully defeated Nottingham Forest with a score of 1-0. Manager David Moyes believes that this has increased the team's confidence and proved that the team has the ability to achieve higher goals next season.  

Abdoulaye Doucoure scored the winning goal in the 94th minute to hand Nottingham Forest their first home defeat since November. Nottingham Forest had not conceded a goal at the City Ground since January.  

David Moyes believes the team performed well at the beginning of the game and he hopes the players can gain confidence from this game and continue to work hard.  

Recalling the game, David Moyes said: "If you can lead the team to achieve Nottingham Forest's current results next season, then I will try my best to do it. I hope to lead Everton to the top of the table, break into the semi-finals and cup finals."  

"We are at this level in terms of form and the way we deal with problems, it's all about how we carry that into next season. The fans have been fantastic and have been behind us since I've been here."  

"I think we've made a lot of progress and we've done a lot of good things in recent weeks. We've played against some teams where we didn't get the ball and we defended well and held on. But in this game, I thought from the first minute, we played well.  

"We started well, we didn't do that against Arsenal but we started well in this game. We slowly got into the game and even in the second half we played well.  

"I think the defenders and midfielders played well and as the game progressed, the players gradually adapted to the rhythm of the game. If anyone could score, it would be us."
