In the Carabao Cup quarter-final that just concluded, Manchester City secured a 2-0 victory over Brentford at home with brilliant goals from two young players, thus clinching their place in the semi-finals.
After the match, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised the performances of goal scorers Rayan Cherki and Savinho.
French playmaker Cherki scored a stunning long-range goal in the first half, unleashing a beautiful arc from 20 yards out that nestled into the top corner of the net.
