Napoli coach Conte said in an interview that he was very happy that Belgian star De Bruyne joined Napoli, and believed that De Bruyne's strength needed no special introduction.
De Bruyne, 34, previously played for Premier League giants Manchester City and won six Premier League titles, two FA Cup titles, five League Cup titles and one Champions League title in his 10 years with the "Blue Moon".
When asked how he would use De Bruyne on the field, Napoli coach Conte said, "It's actually too early to talk about this topic now. We will evaluate his impact at the end of the year. But one thing is very clear, his strength does not need any introduction. We hope to improve the overall strength of the team, and with him we have undoubtedly done it."
"De Bruyne has been one of the best midfielders in the world for many years and he has won everything at Manchester City. Now he embarks on a new challenge, which is a new experience for him in all aspects. I found that he quickly adapted to our environment and we are very happy to have this player."
In addition, Napoli will travel to Sassuolo to challenge the first round of the 2025/26 Serie A season, officially starting another challenging journey.
Conte continued, "In our plans for the future, De Bruyne is very important because he is already a mature player, unlike other players who are still in the development stage."
"The other players we've brought in have to continue to improve and they'll be here for many years. We have a lot of work to do but we're ready."
