The 25th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season will take place, with Nottingham Forest traveling to Elland Road to face newly promoted Leeds United. Manager Dyche has stated that the match will be tough, and therefore, a strong competitive spirit must be displayed.
Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace in their last Premier League match thanks to a goal from Gibbs-White. With two wins, two draws, and one loss in their last five games, Nottingham Forest currently sits in 17th place with 26 points. To further distance themselves from the relegation zone, Nottingham Forest must find a more efficient way to play.
For Leeds United, Daniel Falk's team is currently in 16th place with 26 points. As for head-to-head records, Nottingham Forest defeated their opponents 3-1 at home in the first leg of the season, thanks to goals from Sangaray, Gibbs White and Elliott Anderson.
Nottingham Forest manager Dyche said in an interview, "Elland Road, like most stadiums today, is not as hostile as it was 30 years ago. However, in terms of modern football, the atmosphere there is still very intense."
"That stadium retains its authentic feel; it's still very tough to play there. But I love the crowd and the atmosphere. This stadium has a long history and a huge fan base."
Dyche said, "This game will definitely be tough, but we are in good form and have a strong competitive edge. We must show that form again, but overall, I think the team is in a very balanced state of mind right now."
In addition, 22-year-old Luca Netz previously joined Nottingham Forest and signed a four-and-a-half-year contract.
When discussing the guard, Dyche said, "He is a young and promising player. He is one of the players we have brought in for the future. This does not mean that he cannot play now, but the club does have a longer-term perspective on this signing."
