Official: The Bulls have waived Terentin Flowers and re-signed Yuki Kawamura to a two-way contract.

The Chicago Bulls announced on Tuesday that they have re-signed Yuki Kawamura to a two-way contract. The news was first reported by HoopsHype reporter Michael Scotto and subsequently confirmed by the official sources.

Yuki Kawamura, 24, is a 1.73-meter-tall, 72-kilogram Japanese guard who entered the NBA in 2023 as an undrafted free agent. Last season, he played 22 regular season games for the Grizzlies, averaging 1.6 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 4.2 minutes per game, shooting 11-for-30 from the field and 7-for-23 from three-point range.

Yuki Kawamura signed a two-way contract with the Bulls this summer but was released due to an unhealed right calf injury. Prior to that, he played five NBA Summer League games for the Bulls, averaging 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 2.2 steals per game, and also averaged 3.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in two preseason games.

To make room for Yuki Kawamura, the Bulls also confirmed the release of 20-year-old small forward Terentin Flowers. Flowers had only played one regular-season game for the Bulls since signing a two-way contract in early October, and before injuring his right knee, he played 14 games for the Bulls' G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls, averaging 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 28.0 minutes per game.
