On loan at Bremen, Weber looks forward to returning to the Bundesliga

The 27-year-old Maximilian Weber was loaned to Bremen from Leeds United earlier, and Maximilian Weber said he is looking forward to returning to the German Bundesliga to play.
Weber, from Austria, played for Leeds United last season, but was loaned to Borussia Mönchengladbach in the 2023/24 season, where he played 25 times in the Bundesliga that season and contributed two goals.
In an interview, Weber talked about communicating with Austrian teammates Marco Friedel and Marco Grull before joining Bremen.
"Of course I talked to them about the situation here, asked them about their feelings in Bremen, and some suggestions about accommodation. I chose to join Bremen because I think the club is undergoing positive changes," said Weber.
In addition, Weber has undergone two knee surgeries in the past few months. Weber said, "This long ordeal is finally over. It was really difficult. Things did not go as smoothly as the doctors and I expected. But now, I can train with all my strength."
"Every game in the Bundesliga is a battle. My goal has always been to return to the Bundesliga. The intensity of the games here and the atmosphere in the stadium are simply heaven for players."
