RB Leipzig captain David Raum has spoken highly of Assan Vydraogo. Vydraogo has contributed two goals and four assists in 11 appearances this season, becoming a regular starter for the team and earning his first call-up to the German national team. His performances have brought him considerable recognition, and captain David Raum has also praised his abilities highly.  

At a press conference for the German national team, left-back David Raum praised Assan Vedraogo, saying, "He is very popular in the team, and everyone at the club likes him very much. He is an honest person and is a universally adored player."  

Given 19-year-old Asan Vedraogo's outstanding performances in recent weeks, his first call-up to the national team did not surprise captain David Raum. Raum said, "He absolutely deserves this selection. I spoke to him about it a few weeks ago, and he just smiled, seemingly downplaying his abilities. As soon as I heard the news, I immediately called him via FaceTime, and he was beaming with joy."  

David Raum believes the attacking player's strengths lie in his excellent physical attributes, strong desire to score, and skillful dribbling. However, given Assan Vedraogo's long-term absence due to injury last season, Raum states that the young player has not yet fully realized his potential and still has considerable room for growth.
