Ipswich Town Football Club has announced that Cameron Buggs will leave the club when his contract expires this summer. The centre-back played a vital role in Ipswich Town's promotion from League One to the Premier League. Despite being offered a new contract by the club this summer, he has decided to seek alternative development opportunities.
Since joining Ipswich in the summer window of 2021, Cameron Bugs has played 127 games for Ipswich and scored 5 goals. The most crucial goal occurred in the away game against Coventry in April 2024. The winning goal played a decisive role in the team's impact on the Premier League.
Cameron Buggs made his Premier League debut against Everton in October last year. He was also selected for the Australian national team for the first time during his time at the Suffolk club and played 17 games for the national team.
The club would like to express its sincere gratitude to Cameron Buggs for his contribution to the team during his time at Ipswich Town and wish him all the best in his future career.
