Ahead of the La Liga match against Espanyol, head coach Carlos Corbelin gave a press conference.  

In a media interview, the head coach addressed the team's injury situation, stating, "In addition to existing injuries, Cesar Tarrega will also miss the upcoming matches. He is expected to recover in two to three weeks, and we have been controlling the intensity of the players' training this week."  

"Komerte has recovered from his physical discomfort, and José Copetet is available to play. The biggest absentee for this match is Cesar Tarrega. Dani Laba has resumed training and will be included in the match squad."  

"Some teams have excelled in set pieces, and Espanyol has fully utilized this advantage. They have a key player named Cabrera, who is the focal point of their attack, drawing possession and creating numerous threats. We have made progress, and the team's morale is high and they are well-prepared, which is very important. We must maintain a high level of focus in defending set pieces while also making the most of them in attack."  

“I have never explicitly revealed which players will be joining. We are working hard to complete a signing as soon as possible. However, the situation afterward is not entirely up to us. I have not been involved in any transfer negotiations or signings. It is impossible for me to do so; I have not even considered these matters, and it is not my responsibility on this trip.”  

Speaking about the match against Espanyol, Carlos Colberán said, "It will be a tough game, and we are very much looking forward to playing at the Mestalla Stadium again. We understand the importance of the stadium and the fans to the team, and we will also be facing a very strong and high-level opponent. We hope to show our strength through this match."  

“Looking back at the game against Elche, the team should have achieved a better result than a draw. From a defensive perspective, I am very satisfied with that game. What pleases me most is that we successfully contained this powerful attacking team. In fact, we should have gotten more than one point in that game.”
