Valencia CF officially announced that it has renewed its contract with Cesar Tárrega, which will last until June 2030. In the 2024-25 season, the central defender consolidated his position in the top league, demonstrating excellent competitive spirit, outstanding leadership and continued improvement.  

César Tárrega reiterated his loyalty to the club and expressed his desire to continue wearing the Valencia jersey with pride. This is where he grew up and made his professional debut, and where he became an important cornerstone of the team.  

In the 2023-24 season, Cesar Tárrega played 34 games in La Liga, all starts, accumulating more than 3,000 minutes of playing time, and appeared in the King's Cup four times.  

César Tárrega has earned international recognition for his defensive solidity, consistent play, and maturity at Valencia CF. He has been selected for the Spain U-21 national team and played in the recent European Championship.  

A product of the Valencia academy, he made his first-team debut against CD Utrillas in 2021. Since then, he has steadily improved, gradually establishing himself as an important player in the team's present and future.  

With the renewal of his long-term contract with Valencia, the 23-year-old Cesar Tárrega will continue to hone his skills under Carlos Corberán, striving to maximize his potential.
