Connor Bradley admitted that Liverpool still needs to work harder to become Premier League champions. In Liverpool's match against West Ham United, the team defeated the opponent 2-1. With Virgil van Dijk's goal, Liverpool is currently 13 points ahead in the standings.
Connor Bradley started for the first time since February against West Ham United, who equalised Luis Diaz's opener in the 86th minute through Andy Robertson's own goal.
After the game, Connor Bradley said: "I think the second half was difficult and the players had to unite to beat the opponent, but I'm glad we did it. It's great to get three points. I think we played well in the first half, created a lot of opportunities, and played very well."
"We relaxed a little bit in the second half and that allowed them to control the game a little bit more. No team can control the game for 90 minutes, it's impossible. So, it's a matter of luck and sometimes you have to defend well and I thought we did that."
“At the moment, we are getting closer and closer to our goal, so we have to keep working hard to end the season strongly.”
Alisson Becker also returned to the Liverpool starting lineup after missing two games and gave a brilliant performance for the team, including several wonderful saves. Connor Bradley said: "Alisson Becker is an excellent goalkeeper, I think he is the best goalkeeper in the world, and I am very happy that he supports us."
“If I’m getting beat in a one-on-one, it’s really nice to know he’s got my back because he can help me out, he’s really good.”
