English League Cup – Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 8-7 on penalties to advance to the semi-finals


The final quarter-final match of the 2025/26 English League Cup saw Arsenal, playing at home at the Emirates Stadium, take the lead after Lacroix's goal, but conceded a goal in stoppage time and were equalized. However, they eventually defeated Crystal Palace 8-7 on penalties to advance to the semi-finals.

In the 8th round, Saliba scored a penalty, but Lacroix's penalty was saved by Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa.


Arsenal ultimately defeated Crystal Palace 8-7 on penalties to advance to the semi-finals.
