In the 25th minute, Martinelli chipped a pass into the penalty area, and Jesus' header was saved by Crystal Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez. Maduk's follow-up shot was also blocked. In the 35th minute, Jesus received a pass from Eze and shot, but it was saved by Crystal Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez.

In the 43rd minute, Martinelli broke through the defense and crossed from the penalty area, but Timber jumped up and headed the ball wide.

At the start of the second half, Crystal Palace substituted Justin Devonny and Nathaniel Clyne for Nketiah and Jaydie Canwater. In the 58th minute, Adam Walton combined with his teammates and took a long-range shot from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball went wide of the post.

In the 69th minute, Ødegaard chipped a pass from the left wing into the penalty area, but Jesus' header went wide. In the 79th minute, Ødegaard passed the ball from the penalty area, and Jesus received it and shot, but it was saved by Crystal Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez.

In the 8th round, Saliba scored a penalty, but Lacroix's penalty was saved by Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa.

Arsenal ultimately defeated Crystal Palace 8-7 on penalties to advance to the semi-finals.
