Elliman N'Dia delivered a superb performance for Everton. Manager David Moyes hailed the No. 10 as the best player on the pitch against Manchester City. Elliman N'Dia, Everton's top scorer so far this season, lit up the Etihad Stadium with his aggressive dribbling, precise passing, and fluid technique.  

The player had an all-round performance, contributing two key passes, winning six ground duels, attempting four dribbles, and having 48 touches. Although Guardiola's team gradually found their rhythm and ultimately defeated Everton thanks to Erling Haaland's second-half brace, manager David Moyes felt that Elliman N'Dia's performance in the first half was outstanding and worthy of praise.  

David Moyes said: "I thought Elimane N'Dia played very well in the first half and was the brightest player on the field. Although he showed signs of fatigue in the latter stages of the game, even so, we were very close to preventing the opponent's key passes and goals."  

"Iliman N'Dia played really well. I guess he was a little tired from the national team match and the long journey. But his overall performance was still great. It's a pity that he couldn't help us score."  

David Moyes was impressed not only by the Senegalese winger's performance, but also by the performance of his substitutes. Facing a difficult match, Everton's head coach brought on five substitutes to strengthen his squad. Commenting on the substitutes' performance, the head coach said, "I thought they gave their all when they came on and performed very well. Even though we may have been short on quality overall, they made sure we didn't lose."  

"Everyone who played worked really hard, from Barry to Dwight to Merlin and Tim, and I think they helped the team a lot. That was exactly the competitive spirit we needed. We wanted them to understand that no matter what the game was like, we could always get strong physical support from them, and I believe they did."
