Everton manager David Moyes emphasized the team's goals and ambitions after a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at Hildinkins Stadium. The win marked the team's second in just four days, while also keeping a clean sheet and moving them up to fifth in the Premier League. Moyes praised Thieno Barry's crucial contribution in scoring his first club goal, the team's resilience amid injuries and suspensions, and specifically mentioned Kiernan Dieusbury-Hall's outstanding performance. He also thanked the fans for their support.  

After the match, Everton manager David Moyes said: "We've won four of our last five games, although one was disappointing. But overall, we've scored goals and, most importantly, kept a clean sheet. Keeping a clean sheet is essential if the team wants to achieve anything in the league, regardless of their position. It's very gratifying to see the team doing that now."

I must point out that Iliman Ndiae's pass was very accurate and commendable. It was this assist that allowed Thieno Barry to easily touch the ball and unleash a powerful shot into the net; the pass was flawless."  

“Kiernan Dusbury-Hall has provided extra help to the team. Due to the absence of some players, we have him playing a slightly deeper position for now. It is not easy to achieve consecutive wins in the Premier League. Even in today's game, the opponent had a chance to extend the score to 2-0, which could have put us on the back foot, but in the end we still got a very important victory for the team.”  

“I would be very worried if we lost two games in a row, so we must remain cautious and not let our guard down. The players’ mentality was noticeably better today than before, especially after the loss to Manchester United. I was not satisfied with how we prepared for the Newcastle United game.
