Dean Henderson said he was delighted to be able to give back to the fans who travelled to Lublin to support Crystal Palace with a victory over Dynamo Kyiv. This was the first time in the club's history that they had participated in the group stage of a European competition, and also the first time the team had scored an away goal in a European competition.  

Brilliant plays from Daniel Muñoz and Eddie Nketiah quickly changed the game's trajectory, while Dean Henderson's solid performance secured another clean sheet, securing the points. The Crystal Palace goalkeeper enjoyed a roar of support from the fans in the second half as the team extended their unbeaten run to 19 games in all competitions.  

After the game, Dean Henderson said: "We were in control from the beginning to the end of the game, even when we were one man down. I think the team showed a good rhythm throughout the game and finally proved our strength."  

“The support from the fans has been incredible and we know how much this day means to them. It was their first time here and it was fantastic to repay their enthusiasm with a great win.”  

Despite the increased attention the team has received during this long unbeaten run, Dean Henderson stressed that the team will not become complacent and will remain focused. He said: "It is indeed exciting to see such an unbeaten record. But we still focus on each game and will not be distracted by external noise."  

"The head coach has done an excellent job. The whole team agrees with his coaching philosophy and hopes that he can continue to lead us forward. We have performed very well in recent times and the attention we have received from the outside world has been increasing. But the most important thing is that we must continue to work hard and move towards the next goal."  

“Our performance last season was impressive, but we are not satisfied with that and the team hopes to go further. Now that we have tasted success, we are even more eager to bring more honors to the club.”
