Dean Henderson was disappointed with the result but felt his team had done a great job defensively.

Dean Henderson reiterated Crystal Palace's ambition to win every game as he reflected on their draw with Nottingham Forest.

After his heroics against Aston Villa in the FA Cup semi-final, Dean Henderson made several great saves to prevent an equaliser against Nottingham Forest. Eberechi Eze’s penalty gave Crystal Palace the lead, and midway through the second half, Murillo’s shot was unexpectedly blocked by Dean Henderson’s foot to secure victory.

Both teams had chances to score, but Palace dominated the final stages, with Eberechi Eze hitting the crossbar and Eddie Nketiah having a goal ruled out for offside. In the end, the game ended in a draw, and Palace had to accept the result.

Dean Henderson said: "I think we were obviously disappointed at the time, we should have done enough to win the game.

"I think we took the initiative in the game, showed great aggression and created a lot of chances. However, we were a little unlucky and the ball never landed firmly at our feet. They did a really good job defending and the game was very difficult. They gave the opponent almost no chances in the penalty area and did a very tight low defense."

“The atmosphere was good but we are disappointed with the result. Obviously if Eddie Nketiah’s second goal had been allowed it would have been a different result, but I think he was slightly offside.

"It's very disappointing, we came here obviously to win the game and unfortunately we weren't able to do that so we're very disappointed. I thought we did a really good job defensively. Obviously they were very high tempo and they're a counter attacking team but we did our best to neutralise their attacking threat."
