Enzo Fernandez said he is looking forward to the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup and believes the tournament will provide an exciting viewing experience for fans in the United States and his country.  

Chelsea Football Club is about to depart from Cobham for the Americas to compete in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, a tournament that for the first time will see a 32-team field featuring elite clubs from six continents.  

The team will begin its journey in Atlanta, where it will face MLS powerhouse Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), before heading to Philadelphia to face Brazilian league leader Flamengo and Tunisian champions ES Tunis in the group stage.  

Enzo Fernandez is about to make his debut in a global competition and is full of expectations and confidence for the team's performance on the American stage. He said: "I am very happy to participate in this event. It is a brand new challenge for me. I feel very honored to be able to play for Chelsea. I hope the team can achieve good results in the competition and strive to win the championship."  

“This is a tournament of global influence that attracts worldwide attention. We will go all out and strive for the best performance. We know that the season is over, but we still want to go all out to win because this trophy means a lot to the club.”  

As well as having the chance to compete against the world’s best players and vie for trophies, Enzo Fernandes is also looking forward to playing for Chelsea fans both locally and from afar.  

The midfielder said: "It will be a fantastic tournament, bringing together many clubs from all over the world. I am sure the spectators will enjoy it very much, it will be a great feast of football."
