Monaco Football Club announced that English defender Eric Dier will officially join the team from Bayern Munich on July 1, 2025 and sign a three-year contract with the club, which will last until June 30, 2028.  

Eric Dier joined the German giants in January 2024 and quickly established himself as a starter in the back line, making an important contribution to the team's defensive stability. Eric Dier played a key role in Bayern Munich's journey to win the Bundesliga title, and also demonstrated his rich experience and stable performance as the team reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League.  

Before embarking on this new journey, Eric Dier spent most of his career at Tottenham Hotspur. He joined the team in 2014 and played for ten seasons. With his excellent versatility and stable performance, Eric Dier quickly became a key player of the team and helped Tottenham Hotspur complete a historic journey to the Champions League final in 2019.  

The player, who was born on January 15, 1994 in Cheltenham, played a total of 365 games for the London club, during which time he helped the team achieve two top three Premier League finishes and reached the English League Cup final twice.  

Thanks to Eric Dier's outstanding performance in the club, he has been selected for the England national team since 2015. He has played 49 times for the "Three Lions" so far, scored 3 goals, and participated in the 2016 European Cup and the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.  

Before becoming a well-known player on the international stage, Eric Dier started his career in Portugal. He grew up there with his family and received youth training at Sporting CP. Now, this player with rich experience in top European leagues and national teams is about to join Monaco to inject solid strength into the team.
