Friendly match – Danilo scores as Brazil defeats Croatia 3-1


Brazil, the "Samba Army," defeated Croatia, the "Checkered Army," 3-1 in a friendly match at Camp World Stadium, thanks to goals from Danilo, Igor Thiago, and Martinelli.


Nine minutes into the match, Brazil launched an attack, but Vinicius's dribbling attempt was thwarted by an opposing player. In the 15th minute, Cunha received a pass from João Pedro and shot, but the ball was blocked.

In the 74th minute, Stanisic orchestrated an attack, and Petar Sucic followed up with a shot, but the ball was cleared. In the 84th minute, Toni Fluk played a long pass, and Lovro Mayer, despite the defense, slid in and scored, leveling the score at 1-1 for Croatia.


In the 86th minute, Endric was brought down by an opposing player while attempting a breakthrough, and the referee awarded Brazil a penalty. Igor Thiago then converted the penalty, putting Brazil ahead 2-1 against Croatia. In stoppage time of the second half, Endric passed the ball diagonally to Martinelli, who fired a low shot into the net from inside the penalty area, extending Brazil's lead to 3-1.


Brazil ultimately defeated Croatia 3-1 in this friendly match.
