The mood in the Sevilla dressing room was somber after the defeat at the Anoeta Stadium, with the players agreeing that defensive lapses were the key factor in the loss.  

After the game, Sevilla captain Nemanja Gudelj said: "This game was very heavy for us. We wanted to take away the victory, but in the end we failed. In the second half, we tried to equalize the score, but failed. I think key mistakes led to the result of the game, especially when the opponent scored the second goal."  

"The recent goals we conceded were not because of the opponent's good play, but because of our own mistakes. This is the most frustrating thing. We were not decisive enough in attack and lacked concentration. We must improve because this game should have been our victory."  

Lucien Agoume also said: "It's a pity to lose this game. We had the opportunity to perform better, but in the end we conceded two goals, which shows where we need to improve. Especially the second goal, which came from our mistake in handling the out-of-bounds ball."  

"We have to get back on track immediately. We were in good form during the game, but we conceded two goals and we can't make the same mistake again. With the cup match approaching on Wednesday, the team will go all out to win."  

Finally, Gabriel Suazo also made the same self-criticism. He said: "The loss of this game is regrettable, especially the problems that occurred in the previous game have reappeared.
