Isaac Heath signs new contract with Everton, keeping him at the club until 2027

Everton Football Club can confirm that Under-21 player Isaac Heath has signed a new two-year contract with the Club, which will run until June 30, 2027.

Isaac Heath joined Everton Academy from his boyhood club Leeds United at the age of 13 and has since steadily progressed through the age groups at Finch Farm. He has performed particularly well in the U18 team, making 25 appearances for the team in the 2021-22 season, showing outstanding potential and stability.

Since then, Isaac Heath has gradually established himself in Everton's under-21 team and has become a regular starter under the coaching of Paul Tait. He has continued to participate in Premier League 2 and the English Football League Cup in the past few seasons, accumulating valuable practical experience.

In the 2024-25 season, Isaac Heath made 16 appearances in the Premier League and scored 6 goals for the team. With his stable and efficient performance, he was named the club's U21 Player of the Season. The 20-year-old was selected into David Moyes' Premier League matchday squad four times in the latter part of the season and participated in the first-team training many times, continuing to show his potential for promotion to a higher stage.

Throughout the season, Isaac Heath has shown great versatility. He is not only capable of playing on the wing and in midfield, but can also play as a full-back when the team needs him, which reflects his tactical adaptability and comprehensive technical qualities.

Isaac Heath said: "I am delighted to have renewed my contract and continue playing for Everton. I look forward to continuing to improve. Last season was very positive for the team and for me personally."

“I’ve been getting a lot of opportunities and I think we’ve been playing really well as a team throughout the season. Now we just hope to keep working hard and see what the new season brings.”

“My goal is to try and impress in the first team and hopefully earn a place there. If that is not possible for the time being, we will also consider other loan opportunities to continue to gain experience and maintain momentum.”
