This season, many of Bayern Munich's key players are either away on national team duty or at the Sabena training base preparing for the upcoming campaign. However, young number 10 Jamal Musiala continues to work closely with his fitness coach, training diligently in an effort to return to competition as soon as possible. The rising striker has been sidelined since suffering a leg and ankle fracture during the summer's FIFA Club World Cup.
Jamal Musiala admitted that he learned a lot during his injury. He said: "This period has made me realize the joy of playing football and has made me more aware of my love for the sport. It has also been an opportunity to reflect and improve. During a game, there is often not enough time to consider the details. Obviously, I hope to return to the field in better condition."
Musiala also endured a lengthy recovery period alongside fellow players Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito, who also suffered serious injuries. They supported and encouraged each other throughout their recovery. Musiala said, "We met every day and tried to motivate each other to stay motivated. Having good friends by your side is so important."
The two young players also share a common passion outside of football: music. Musiala and Davies take turns choosing the songs to play during training. Musiala said, "Music has always been an integral part of my life. Also, since my injury, I've had my family around me almost constantly, and their presence has helped alleviate the stress of my injury."
In addition to his love for music, Jamal Musiala also enjoys playing video games and supporting his favorite team. Speaking of the team's current performance, he expressed great satisfaction: "The team has won 10 consecutive games this season. You can see that we are playing very well and everyone is enjoying the game. I look forward to returning to the field with Alphonso Davies as soon as possible. We hope to continue to enjoy the game after recovering from the injury and help the team win more victories."
