England, led by Tuchel, will host Japan in their next friendly match. James Trafford, the England goalkeeper who plays for Manchester City, said that making his debut for the England national team was a very meaningful thing, and that one of the best things was growing up with his teammates.

In the previous friendly match, 23-year-old James Trafford made his debut for the Three Lions, playing the full 90 minutes. Thanks to a goal from Ben White, England drew 1-1 with Uruguay in that friendly.

James Trafford, who plays for Manchester City, said: "It's a dream come true, it feels amazing and wonderful. I really enjoyed the game, and it's a day that makes me and my family and friends incredibly proud. It's fantastic to receive the commemorative cap. I've received commemorative caps for the national team at various age levels, and this is a very special moment."

"And Pickford, as well as other goalkeepers I've worked with before, including Ramsdale, Dean Henderson, and Jason Steele, they are all excellent. They are all very good people and extremely talented, and I have learned from them and incorporated them into my game to improve myself."

James Trafford shared, “It’s been a long journey. I remember first participating in goalkeeper training when I was about 12 years old. When they held their first training camp at the U15 level, I was also selected for the first training squad, but I haven’t been called up since. I’ve always hoped to go back, but I’ve never had the chance.”

"Then I was officially selected for the team for the first time in the U16 season. After I was called up, we played against Denmark, Spain and Scotland. I played in all three games, which was really great. It's great to see us come this far from that point. Three years ago, I wasn't sure how many of us would have thought we'd be reunited at the national team training camp."

Furthermore, James Trafford stated, "Many players have been selected for the national team at different stages, including Colwell, Kwaanza, Angel Gomes, and Gibbs White, among others. It's a large number, and there will be more in the future. We knew then that it was a very good squad, and now everyone sees that."

“One of the best things is growing up with my teammates. Although I didn’t see them for a while because of transfers or not being called up, it was great to get back together with them. And the memories we created together on the field are just as precious.”
