Jerson Mosquera is full of anticipation and is eager to put on the Wolves jersey again and fight for the club and city he loves.  

The player missed a large portion of last season after suffering a serious injury against Aston Villa in September, but he signed a new contract with the club in March and he admitted that his current goal is to return to team training in the upcoming pre-season.  

The defender is making an encouraging recovery and will be looking to make up for the time he missed last season as a key member of the Wolves squad for four years, continuing his stellar career under the guidance of head coach Vitor Pereira, who has been impressed with the player and is looking forward to seeing him contribute more to the team.  

"I feel good and I'm making great progress, which makes me very happy," said Jerson Mosquera. "My body and condition are good and I feel comfortable, which is the most important thing for me."  

"I am confident that I can complete the training smoothly and my physical condition continues to improve. The current recovery is going well and I expect to train with the team during the pre-season. However, I still need to continue to work hard and be fully prepared."
