Joao Palinha joined Tottenham on loan from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich until the end of the 2025-26 season. The club has the option to make his transfer permanent next summer.

The 30-year-old Palinha played for Fulham for two years, during which time he won wide recognition for his stable tackling ability and dominance on the field, and was named the club's best player in the 2022-23 season.

In an interview with Tottenham Hotspur, Palinha said frankly: "It feels great to return to the Premier League and return to London. This is what my family and I are very eager for at the moment."
