Valencia club's new signing Julen Acirezabala made his debut in the pre-season warm-up match against Leganes and was interviewed by the club's official media after the game.  

In an interview after the game, Asirezabala said: "I am very happy to play my first game for the club. I have been here for a week and a half, and I have been hoping to adapt to the team and the head coach's tactical philosophy as soon as possible. For me, this debut time is very satisfying."  

"Of course we want to win every game, even in the pre-season. The most important thing is our own feeling on the field, the accumulated confidence, and the understanding and implementation of the coach's philosophy. Other things are not completely under our control. But I think this is a very good team. We have to continue to fight, go all out like we are now, and improve step by step until the first round of the league."  

"Valencia is a club with a great tradition, but like all teams, it goes through ups and downs. I think that's the beauty of football, sometimes you fight for the highest honors, and at other stages you have to focus on different goals. For us, the most important thing now is to focus on this season because it will be an exciting season."
