Jørgen Strand Larsson was disappointed with his home debut for Crystal Palace. Despite a strong start, the team ultimately lost to Burnley. Even a brace from the Norwegian striker in front of the new fans couldn't change the outcome.  

The Crystal Palace striker said: "It was going to be a fantastic home debut until the opposition scored three goals in a short period. That was definitely frustrating because I was hoping for a more special day. But I think we all need to learn from that. The Premier League is very competitive, and no game is easy; this can happen. However, we have to take responsibility for that 10 minutes of lapse in concentration."  

"In their first goal, I think none of us, from the front to the back, maintained enough focus or put in the necessary effort. Including myself, I feel we could have done more for the team, so it was very frustrating."  

"This kind of thing can happen in a game, and what we need to do is readjust and get back on track. I think we gave away our advantage a bit, allowing our opponents to play to their strengths and failing to maintain the good momentum from the first 30 minutes. We are very disappointed about this, but at the same time, we should also acknowledge the positive performance we showed in the first 30 minutes."  

“I think we reacted more aggressively in the second half than in the first. The opponent certainly caused us a lot of trouble, but we also put in the effort. However, in the final stages of the game, we could have done better, both defensively and in trying to score the third goal.”  

Speaking about his performance, the Crystal Palace player scored a powerful half-volley and a spectacular diving header in his debut at Selhurst Park. He said, "I thought it would be a special day, but in any case, I will always remember my first two goals here."  

"That felt amazing. Both assists were fantastic and showcased the team's overall strength. For me personally, scoring the first two goals was very meaningful. It's been a while now, and I feel great, like I'm back home. All we need to do now is keep working hard."  

“I think we had chances to score in the last game, so I’m a little disappointed. But I always crave victory and I’m happy to be here. I will continue to work hard and stay confident, that’s the most important thing. I believe this team has the potential to succeed, and we won’t lose confidence because of one loss.”
