League of Legends has been plagued by malicious hacking, which is one of the most frustrating things players can encounter in ranked games. League of Legends players will now receive a LP refund if their ranked game is maliciously hacked.

Trolling is different from common trolling behaviors such as name-calling or excessive tagging because the offending player intentionally disrupts the game for his teammates. This behavior often includes the following:

• Stealing resources from your own jungler and refusing team cooperation

• Knowing that they are no match for their opponent, they continue to die alone while maintaining a seemingly "okay" KDA.

• Intentionally letting the ADC fight alone, or deliberately slacking off in key teamfights

Since these behaviors are difficult to be clearly defined as "giving away heads" or "passive play" by traditional systems, many repeat offenders have long been at large, resulting in a large number of ranked games being ruined. This kind of experience has also become one of the most frustrating problems for players of "League of Legends".

In this update, Riot has comprehensively strengthened the behavior recognition system, further improving the recognition rate of "faking to send heads" and "soft sabotage" behaviors. At the same time, two new features have been added, making players exclaim "I have finally waited for this day."

The new system can reliably identify patterns of behavior that appear to be normal but are actually destructive. In addition, new penalty notifications will reveal the username of the offending player.

If a player fails in a ranked match due to the "destructive behavior" of a teammate, they can get a LP refund if they meet the following two conditions:

1. Players are required to report saboteurs after the game

2. When Riot successfully verifies and punishes reported vandals, affected teammates will be notified and LP refunds will be returned to their accounts.
