Villarreal coach Marcelino García Toral anticipates a very tough match against Real Betis. However, he is also optimistic, believing the Green-Whites are a force to be reckoned with and anticipating a hard-fought battle against a rival vying for a Champions League spot.  

Marcelino said: "Last year, the score was close when we played against them, and it wasn't until the last five or six games that a winner was decided. At their home ground, if they had won, we would have been behind. But in the end, we won, catching them off guard. The opponent we are about to face is very tough, with a sharp style of play and accurate shooting. If we can win, it will be a very significant victory."  

"The team has been performing exceptionally well recently, and we currently have a considerable number of points. Especially considering we still have one game to play, our goal is to maintain this momentum. With 16 points away from home, we know we're heading to a challenging stadium. Facing a strong team led by an outstanding coach, the fact that we're among the league's top teams motivates us to keep going. We've won more games than we've lost in recent matches, so we hope to continue this form."  

"Real Betis is a strong team with the ability to beat any opponent, which has been demonstrated in the past few seasons. They have assembled a team aiming for Champions League qualification, and if we cannot maintain the same ambition, the only result will be stagnation."

When discussing Real Betis' recent performance, Marcelino said, "When analyzing statistics, we must consider the actual situation. Two of these three losses were against Real Madrid and Barcelona. Although they have more draws, we have more wins. These are objective factors, but it is undeniable that they are a very difficult team to beat."  

"We currently have a considerable number of points. Although there is a gap between us and our opponents in the standings, it is not due to a difference in squad strength. In fact, the two teams are evenly matched. Our high points may make other teams look inferior, but that is not the case."
