After the 2-2 draw with Juventus, Villarreal head coach Marcelino García Toral commented on the game at the press conference.  

Head coach Marcelino spoke highly of the players' performance and said: "I am proud of them. It is exciting to be able to compete with a strong team like Juventus. In high-level competitions, the key lies in whether we can seize opportunities, and we did this very well in the first half."  

"We didn't handle the start of the second half well and made some mistakes. To win, you have to stay focused for the entire 90 minutes, but we only managed 80. In that 10-minute period, the opponent scored two goals. However, it's commendable that we responded afterwards."  

Marcelino also affirmed the team's fighting spirit. He said: "These players have shown belief, will, ambition and fighting spirit. We have proved this in two consecutive Champions League games. This is by no means accidental. We have the ability to compete with any opponent. Although I failed to win, I leave here with pride and satisfaction."  

"We should have had more points than we did, but the reality is we only got one point in two games. The start of the season was very difficult, and the three matches against top opponents were all challenging. But I'm still happy because the team showed its ability to compete with strong opponents like Tottenham and Juventus. We were a little lacking in shooting and a little luck. Apart from those ten minutes, the team played better overall, so I'm basically satisfied with the result."  

"It means a lot to me to be here at this stadium to play my first Champions League match as a manager. This night is especially special because it was exactly 11 years ago that my father passed away. Coincidentally, I was in charge of Villarreal at the time and played in a Europa League match on the same day. Although we didn't win tonight, we played a fantastic match against a great opponent. I miss him but I'm also very proud of the team. This is a night to remember for us."
