Matti Cifuentes was satisfied with the result and praised the players for their excellent spirit during the match.

Leicester City recently staged a comeback to defeat Norwich City 2-1, with manager Matty Sifuentes attributing the victory to the players' fighting spirit. Around the 60th minute, Matthias Qvistgaden's goal gave Liam Manning's Norwich City the lead at Carrow Road, but Sifuentes' Leicester City continued their relentless fight in East Anglia.

Bobby de Cordoba-Reid equalized with a brilliant half-volley just 15 minutes after coming on as a substitute. This victory was Leicester City's first in six games, moving them up to 12th in the table, four points above the playoff zone, just before the international break. Manager Matty Sifuentes expressed satisfaction with the team's performance.

After the match, Mattie Sifuentes said: "We are all very happy, and I think the team performed very well in the end. After Norwich City took the lead, the players showed excellent mental state."

“I am very satisfied with the team and happy for the fans. The players performed well in many stages of the game, especially in the second half, which is exactly the style of play we want, and we need to maintain this form. The most crucial thing is mentality, and we have been discussing areas for improvement with the players. It is commendable that the players have shown outstanding performance in attitude, team spirit, and commitment in the past two games.”

The manager also praised De Cordova Reid's performance in the match, not only for Leicester City to equalize but also for inspiring the team to launch a counter-attack later in the game.

Matti Sifuentes continued: "He has performed brilliantly, and I think Bobby will become a very important member of the team. Despite being plagued by injuries and bad luck since the start of the season, he is a very good and experienced player. He understands the game and makes a real impact on it. This is not only reflected in his goals, but also in his support for the midfield and his ability to find space."

“I am very pleased with the performance of the substitutes. Stephen Mavididi played well when he came on, and Luke Thomas played an important role after Ben Nelson was injured. Every player contributed to the team.”
