Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah says this season's Premier League title glory is "far better" than the one they won under Jurgen Klopp in 2020.
After sweeping Tottenham 5-1 at Anfield, Liverpool secured the Premier League title four rounds in advance, which was a perfect footnote for Arne Sloter's first season as coach. Salah also scored a goal in the game.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the Egypt international was asked how he compared this season with his title-winning experience in 2020.
"It's much better this time, 100 percent," Salah replied firmly.
"Without Mane, without Klopp, without Firmino - all this makes this trophy even more special. Now we have a different team, a different coach, and to do it again is really not easy and very special."
When asked if Sloter has made him a better player, Salah responded with a smile: "Look at the stats - it looks like that!"
He further added: “Slott was very outspoken and had a tough personality, but he made our lives easy because you could immediately understand what he wanted and we did exactly what he asked.”
