Premier League club Newcastle United officially announced that it has signed young midfielder Park Seung-soo from South Korea.

The 18-year-old potential star will join Newcastle United's youth training system and will train and play with the U21 team from now on.

Park Seung-soo previously played for Suwon Bluewings, a traditional powerhouse in the Korean K League, and scored his first professional goal against Ansan Greens in the league in June 2024, setting the record for the youngest scorer in Korean professional football.

So far, Park Seung-soo has played 28 times for Suwon Bluewings in various competitions, contributing 1 goal and 3 assists. In addition, Park Seung-soo has been selected for the South Korean U20 national team and played in 5 games, showing a stable performance in the international youth arena.
