Crystal Palace got off to a winning start in their UEFA Europa League group stage match, defeating Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 away. Afterwards, manager Oliver Glasner said the win was "totally deserved."

Crystal Palace took the initiative throughout the game. Although the opponent increased the pressure after a player was sent off, the team eventually won all three points thanks to goals from Daniel Munoz and Eddie Nketiah.

Glasner commented after the game: "We controlled the game for most of the time. The pressure was a little greater only after the opponent's red card. But overall, we deserved to win this game. We scored a beautiful goal and had two great chances. This is a completely deserved victory."

Looking ahead to the upcoming Premier League campaign, Crystal Palace will make their first visit to Everton's new home, Hill Dickinson Stadium, on October 5th. Glasner reminded the team to focus quickly: "We don't favor any particular competition over another; the next game is always the most important."
