AC Milan announced on Thursday that they had parted ways with Theo Hernandez, who subsequently joined Al-Hilal for 25 million euros, with a contract until June 2028.

Various signs indicate that Theo will wear the No. 19 jersey in Al-Hilal. Other sources pointed out that his annual salary after tax in Al-Hilal exceeds 20 million euros.

Theo, 27, was born in Marseille, France, and moved to Spain with his family when he was two years old. He grew up in the youth training of Atletico Madrid and made his professional debut on August 28, 2016 on loan for Alaves in the second round of La Liga.

In July 2019, Theo transferred to AC Milan for 22.8 million euros. He mainly plays as a left back in AC Milan. So far, he has made 262 appearances, scored 34 goals and provided 45 assists, and won the Serie A championship and the Italian Super Cup with the team.

Before joining AC Milan, Theo also played for Real Madrid and Real Sociedad, where he played 51 times in total, contributing 1 goal and 5 assists, and won the Champions League, Club World Cup, European Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup with the team once each.

After completing the transfer, Theo said goodbye to Milan through social media. He wrote: "After six years at the club, it's time to say goodbye."
