Oliver Glasner stated that Crystal Palace will learn from their 2-1 defeat to Everton. It was the team's first defeat since April and ended the club's longest unbeaten run in all competitions. Crystal Palace dominated the first half, with Daniel Muñoz giving them the lead shortly before halftime, a performance that was entirely commendable. Muñoz's link-up play with Marc Guehi, Yeremia Pino, and Ismaila Sarr was truly impressive.  

After the game restarted, Everton continued to create offensive opportunities. However, due to two defensive errors in the last 15 minutes, the opponent reversed the score and Crystal Palace suffered its first defeat of the season.  

After the game, Oliver Glasner said: "The result is disappointing and hard to accept because it could have been avoided. It was our mistake and our responsibility. In the 60th to 70th minutes of the game, we performed very well and had the opportunity to decide the outcome."

Looking back at the team's nearly six-month unbeaten streak, this game also allowed Crystal Palace to set a new club record of 12 consecutive unbeaten games in the Premier League. Oliver Glasner admitted: "This defeat is even more painful because we haven't experienced this feeling in nearly six months. But I also told the players immediately after the game that this is a new chapter in Crystal Palace's history. They have won two trophies and created the longest unbeaten streak, which is completely worth being proud of. Now, we must start a new journey again."
