Parma announced on their official website on Friday that they have signed French striker Nesta Elphege from Grenoble.
According to Parma's official statement, Elphege has signed on a short-term two-and-a-half-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2028.
After completing his transfer procedures, Elphege, who was interviewed by the Parma official website for the first time, said: "I am very happy to come to Parma. It's a club with a long history. I want to thank the club, the staff, and my teammates for their warm welcome."
"At the beginning of the January transfer window, my agent told me that Parma and several other clubs were interested in me. But when I heard Parma's name, I immediately knew where I wanted to go. I'm very excited because of the opportunity to play here; there are many high-level teams in Serie A."
"I didn't have any particular expectations for this transfer window, nor did I expect to receive any special offers. My performance has been good since the start of the season, so there might be some inquiries from teams, but I don't have any specific plans."
"When my agent mentioned Parma's interest in me and the opportunity to play in Serie A, I immediately became excited without hesitation. I'm very happy to be here."
