A Merseyside derby was staged in the sixth round of the 2025/26 Premier League. Liverpool, playing at Anfield, defeated Everton 2-1 with goals from Gravenberch and Ekitik.
Ten minutes into the match, Salah lobbed a cross into the box from the right, and Gravenberch seized the opportunity to volley home, giving Liverpool a 1-0 lead. In the 83rd minute, Soboslai dribbled forward and made a through ball, but Everton goalkeeper Pickford immediately intervened to save Liverpool's shot.
In the 90th minute, Everton took a corner kick, and Grealish volleyed the ball but kicked it away.
In the end, Liverpool beat Everton 2-1 at home and achieved five consecutive victories.
