Premier League – Van der Wenger shown red card, Tottenham Hotspur lose 1-3 to Crystal Palace


The 29th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season featured the final key match. Tottenham Hotspur, playing at home, took the lead with a goal from Solanke, but suffered a blow when Van der Weng was shown a red card and a goal was conceded, ultimately losing 1-3 to Crystal Palace.

In the 74th minute, Tottenham Hotspur substituted Richarlison and Javi Simons for Solanke and Pedro Polo. In the 88th minute, Crystal Palace launched an attack with a cross, but Sarr saved the shot.


Tottenham Hotspur ultimately lost 1-3 to Crystal Palace at home. After suffering their fifth consecutive defeat, Crystal Palace currently sits in 16th place in the league table with 29 points.
