Edwards made tactical adjustments at halftime, and his players responded quickly at Anfield, ultimately forcing the reigning Premier League champions to hold on for the win.  

Rob Edwards's impressive second-half performance boosted his confidence on his journey to Manchester United. Despite Andre's suspension, the manager was inspired by the Liverpool game and hopes this kind of performance will become the norm for the team.  

Speaking about the lessons learned from the previous match against Manchester United, Rob Edwards said: "That game helped us understand ourselves better. We made some mistakes and inadvertently sped up the pace of their attack, which in turn pushed the game forward. When they were full of confidence, we almost made the choices for them, giving them too many opportunities."  

"We will determine the final starting lineup based on the number of players, suspensions, absences, and injuries. The next four days will be very tough as we face Anfield and Old Trafford, but we will certainly gain valuable lessons from them."  

“We are competitive, but we sometimes get confused during games and find it difficult to adjust quickly. In the game against Liverpool, we made things very difficult for ourselves. The players occasionally showed their ability, but we have not seen them play the full game, except perhaps against Aston Villa, which was almost a complete reflection of their performance.”  

“We may have created more and more threatening chances in Saturday’s game than we did against Aston Villa. But we need to maintain consistency and a well-rounded performance throughout the match. "This period has been too long for them. I've been here for six weeks and I'm getting a little tired of it. We have to find a solution and continue the good performance from the second half. Speaking about Andre's absence due to suspension, he said: "I think he played exceptionally well in the second half, that's his ability. I spoke with him after the game, and he played aggressively and bravely. His absence is a significant loss for us. He is indeed a very good player, and when he can perform at this level in the second half, that's exactly what we need. Now we can only focus on what we can do next."  

"It was difficult because Andre's performance in the second half was exactly what I needed. If we want to achieve something, he has to maintain this level. When he plays with this passion, success may be just around the corner. Earlier, he was a fraction too slow in a challenge and should have received a yellow card, but I couldn't let him leave the game. Players have to stay clear-headed. I can accept a yellow card for a normal tackle, but I cannot condone it for diving, kicking the ball, or other irrational behavior."
