Rodrigo Gomes believes Wolves showed resilience and put in a brilliant performance at Molineux to defeat West Ham United and advance to the third round of the Carabao Cup.  

The Portuguese striker scored in the first half, capitalizing on Hwang Hee-chan's penalty kick, to give his side the early lead. However, the visitors overtook them in the second half, but substitute Jurgen Strand-Larsen netted twice in the final 10 minutes to secure Wolves' advancement to the next round.  

After the game, Rodrigo Gomez talked about his performance and said: "This was a wonderful game and my first goal of the season. I am very happy to contribute to the team. In the game, we took the lead first, but West Ham United quickly equalized the score and we successfully reversed it in the end."
