Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim said in a pre-season interview in Chicago that the team is better in every detail before entering the new season than at the end of last season.

Amorim firmly believes that it is these seemingly small changes that will lay the foundation for the team's future success. Amorim said: "We have become better in every aspect of our daily operations."

"From nutrition and cooking methods to diet and training preparation, we have become more organized and have more professionals to help us move forward. In the past, I would always be distracted by some trivial issues, but now I can really focus on the game and the team itself."

Amorim also revealed that the improvement of the cultural atmosphere is one of the core changes. He pointed out that today's players are more self-motivated, more committed to training, and realize that if they don't give their all, it will be difficult to gain a foothold at Manchester United.

Asked if this cultural shift was reflected in the team's daily lives, Amorim offered a simple yet profound example: changes to mealtimes.

"Before they would finish their meal and leave, but now they wait for each other, sit longer and communicate more. You can hear it from the sounds in the restaurant; the overall atmosphere has become better. These changes themselves will not directly lead to victory, but they will help us win games," added Amorim.

After the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham in May, Amorim promised fans at Old Trafford that better days were coming. Now, Amorim is fulfilling his promise step by step with concrete actions, giving Manchester United a new look from the inside out.
